No. HiWi+ Exam Manager is a pure assistance tool for exam marking: it supplies examiners with structured notes and suggestions. Assessment and the final mark remain entirely with the examining staff, in the sense of the human oversight required by the EU AI Act.
No, and that is a deliberate decision. Suspicion values for AI use are unreliable and particularly disadvantage students who are not writing in their first language. HiWi+ Thesis instead checks what is objectively verifiable: whether the sources given exist, can be found and whether the quotation appears at the stated place. From that, suggested questions for the colloquium are produced. The module produces no statement about a person's independent authorship or subject understanding; assessment and mark remain entirely with the examiners.
Yes. With HiWi+ Local AI we provide a local AI server that processes sensitive information exclusively on site: data sovereign, GDPR-compliant and without any data outflow to third parties. Existing servers can be integrated or new ones operated locally.
